After a while I get sick of ponytails and I think clips are very late 90s, so when I heard about the EZ Comb I was definitely interested. For $10 you get 2 EZ Combs, 1 similar to the one you see in my hair and a black one. They are a simple tool to get a quick French twist. There are directions on doing several other styles, but I stuck to the basic few styles I could handle (and like). So, would I recommend purchasing the EZ Comb? You can decide for yourself based upon my pros and cons. Pros: The EZ Comb is very comfortable, made well and gives some good options for some different hairstyles. It is inexpensive and seems so far to be durable. It is a good piece for the office or if you are traveling and want a relaxed way to keep your hair out of your face. Cons: I have thick hair and it feels really secure, but if I am moving around a lot it tends to loosen up and fall out. I am not sure how well it would work on really thin or short hair for the same reason. I would not attempt to wear it running or anywhere you need a secure ponytail. Do you feel like you take great care of your teeth- but cannot seem to kick bad breath? We were provided the following tips from NYC dentist Dr. Lee Gause, DDS of the Smile Design Manhattan. Dr. Lee Gause's Tips For Avoiding Bad Breath · Flossing is essential to good hygiene and imperative to avoiding bad breath. · Not skipping meals is key. Eating helps get rid of bacteria on the tongue and stimulates the washing action of saliva that helps avoid bad breath. · Constant snacking is bad for oral hygiene and breath since your saliva doesn’t have time in between meals to wash away food naturally. · Mints add fuel to the fire by increasing the amount of sugar in solution in the mouth which literally feeds the bacteria that causes bad breath. Dr. Lee Gause's Tips For Treating Bad Breath · After eating, clean the mouth by brushing or rinsing with mouthwash to help prevent bad breath. · Drink water regularly- this helps saliva to wash away bacteria. · Regular cleanings with a dentist or dental hygienist are mandatory. Try to visit the dentist twice a year to maximize prevention. · Sugarless gums, like Trident, Dentyne, or Orbitz are actually good for teeth. These chewing gums increase salivary flow which has a bathing or cleansing effect on the teeth. However, be careful! Excessive gum chewing can cause TMJ (Tempromandibular Joint) pain and clicking. · Most people don't know that there is more than one kind of dental cleaning. If a person has persistent halitosis a deep cleaning (usually takes 2 to 4 visits and requires numbing) may be needed to remove tartar under the gums Labels: Avoiding and treating bad breath

We have a terrific update from our friends at Bernardo! They are offering free shipping through June 15th exclusively to readers of Indulge! Just enter coupon code Freeship09 at checkout to take advantage of this great offer! Rumored to have owned 16 pairs of Bernardo's bright "Miami" flip-flops (right), Jackie O. once again started a fashion trend that continues to this day. Fans of Bernardo shoes include Jennifer Garner, Beyonce, Hillary Duff, Halle Berry and me. This is probably the only line I have ever gone through and really liked every single shoe. The website is filled with great vintage looks, information about the history and quality of the shoes and there is even a section of pet pictures with Bernardo shoes ... winner could get a pair of Bernardos. I wonder if I could get Casey to sit still long enough to get a shot of him with a pair of Bernardos ...? Anyway, my favorite are the Matrix (perfect with shorts, a dress OR pants), the Miami ( they are chic flip-flops and any fashion trend Jackie O. starts I am automatically behind) and the Mojo Stones are flashy and fun. Leyla Milani, the lovely #13 model on ‘Deal of No Deal,’ is known for her luscious locks. Her beautiful hairstyle was created by celebrity hairstylist Allen Edwards, and now you can get this look yourself. Instructions on recreating Leyla’s curls per press release: Allen creates Leyla’s soft look by using a special technique called “Blow Curl”. This simple technique entails blowing 80% of the moisture out, winding the hair around a small brush, rolling the last 3 inches of hair and letting it curl around the brush. Pin the hair to your head and let it dry. Allen Edwards Salon + Spa is located in Brentwood and Woodland Hills, California. He has a new hair product line called Allen Edwards Shear Force, which he uses on Leyla. Labels: Deal or No Deal model hair, The secret to Leyla Milani's hair
