Products for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The color pink seems to shine its brightest in October in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. October has caught on for many companies as a way to show their support in the fight against breast cancer through pink products and donations. This year is no different, and below I have listed some of popular ones. Also, I urge organizations to step-up their products for men … there were too few good ones out there.
Breast cancer awareness products for women:
- Lacoste’s Touch of Pink Fragrance, $52. Lacoste will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of each 1.6 oz Eau de Toilette Spray to the Young Survivors Coalition.
- Murad’s Energizing Pomegranate Lip Protector SPF 15, $16.50. 10% of the retail price will go toward the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
- Guess is donating 20% of proceeds from its $115 sporting pink watch to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The watch has a pink leather band and tiny pink crystals in the face. Guess guarantees a minimum donation of $25,000.
- Ojon Revitalizing Mist for Breast Cancer Awareness, a leave-in conditioner, $26. 20% of the retail price will go toward the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
- Breast Cancer Crusade Flip-Flop Necklace, $5, by Avon, features a pink flip-flop charm with the phrase: "we walk as one” on the back. 100% of the net proceeds ($3.36) will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.
Breast cancer awareness products for men:
- Breast Cancer Awareness ties, $65, by Antoine Harris. The company will donate 10% of each transaction toward Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
- Leather tri-fold wallet with Komen logo embossed on it, $15.99. 24% of purchase price goes toward Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
- Men's polo shirt by Dockers with Komen logo on the right sleeve $29.99. 41% of purchase price goes toward Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Breast cancer awareness products for all:
- Garth Brooks - The Ultimate Hits CD, $10 from sale of each album sold will go to $10 will go toward Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
- MY M&M'S (available online at mymms.com) will donate 10% of the sales of its "Promise Blend" to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
- Pink Boxers Distribution, Inc. donates 100% of the profits from sales of pink boxers (below) to the American Breast Cancer Foundation
