Mom and baby yoga

Was your baby's first word "Namaste?" It could be! Some fitness centers are rolling out the yoga mats for both mom and baby with "Mom and Baby Yoga" classes. While all gyms vary, the classes are generally 45 minutes to one hour and broken down by the age of the baby, as some of the classes have little poses that moms can do holding their babies. There are also exercises that are just for moms, so the baby generally just relaxes on the floor next to her. Many moms say this is a great way to bond with their baby and get some exercise at the same time.

Make sure to check with the fitness center before starting as all classes and gyms are different with some potentially being more strenuous than others.
